MEET THE FACE OF BRITISH PIE WEEK

We are delighted to announce that Adam Pavey at The Goat Major, Cardiff has been crowned the Face of British Pie Week 2010!

Chef Adam wowed the judges with his delicious Wye Valley Pie, described by the judges as ‘Heaven in a pie.’ A mouth-watering combination of locally sourced ingredients including Welsh speciality Tintern Abbey cheese, and beautifully light Jus-Rol puff pastry, this winning pie was a huge hit with the judges and the pub’s customers alike!

“I’m delighted the Wye Valley Pie won, it means so much to me that it’s been recognised and I’m looking forward to showcasing it during British Pie Week.” Adam Pavey, The Goat Major
